PC general introduction:
Polycarbonate, referred to as PC, is an amorphous thermoplastic. It is a kind of macromolecular compound with carbonate structure in molecular chain and various materials based on it. According to the molecular structure, they can be divided into aliphatic, alicyclic, aromatic and aliphatic aromatic groups. And bisphenol a polycarbonate is the most important. Generally speaking, polycarbonate refers to bisphenol-A polycarbonate and its modified varieties without special instructions.

Six features of PC:
Physical and chemical properties: amorphous, tasteless, odorless, nontoxic, tranrent, with certain chemical corrosion resistance
Mechanical properties; excellent impact strength and dimensional stability; creep resistance; fatigue strength; friction and wear resistance
Thermal properties: decomition temperature above 300 ℃, long-term working temperature up to 120 ℃, embrittlement temperature as low as - 100 ℃
Electrical properties: small molecule, high glass transition temperature, low water absorption, excellent insulation
Aging resistance and flame resistance: when heated in air for a long time, its performance changes little. PC is combustible. Magnesium hydroxide and red phosphorus are added to improve the flame retardancy
Optical properties: amorphous, pure PC, colorless and tranrent, with good transmittance

The wide application of PC:
1. Automobile industry: bumper, distributor, safety glass, etc;
2. Glass assembly industry: door and window glass, protective window, industrial safety baffle and bulletproof glass;
3. Various signs: gasoline pump dial, automobile dashboard, outdoor commercial signs, sliding indicator, etc;
4. Electronic and electrical: CD, switch, housing, signal tube, capacitor, telephone , telephone exchanger, signal relay and parts, etc;
