PC Basic Description:
PC can be divided into aliphatic, alicyclic, aromatic and aliphatic aromatic groups. As one of the five engineering plastics, polycarbonate mainly refers to bisphenol a polycarbonate. PC is a kind of thermoplastic engineering plastics with excellent comprehensive properties. It can be used to manufacture parts such as machinery, automobile and precision instrument. It can also be used in electronic components and electric tool parts. However, the processing and molding requirements of PC are high, and it has no self-lubricating property, so it is not suitable for manufacturing products with metal inserts. Due to its non-toxic, good chemical resistance and excellent food hygiene performance, PC can be widely used in daily life. In particular, its tranrency is superior to other engineering plastics, so it is widely used in aviation glass, lamps, safety glass, office equipment, laser disc and other fields. It can be said that in all areas of the national economy, PC has been widely used, and is still expanding.

PC是分子主链中含有碳酸酯基的聚合物统称为聚碳酸酯，根据醋基结构可分为脂肪族、芳香族、脂肪族一芳香族等多种类型。目前商业化聚碳酸醋的基本结构为芳香族代。由于代是一种综合性能优良的非晶型热塑性树脂, 具有优异的电绝缘性、延伸性、尺寸稳定性及耐化学腐蚀性, 较高的耐热性和耐寒性还具有自熄、易增强、阻燃、无毒、卫生、能着色等优点，聚碳酸醋是增长速度快的通用工程塑料，目前聚碳酸醋的工业化装置基本上都是采用界面缩聚法工艺, 主要工艺是将双与溶液配制成双盐, 同时加人, 然后送人反应器内, 加人, 通进行化反应,反应完后将反应液送到缩聚反应器内, 加人和溶液, 进行缩聚反应.

PC是一种中等耐磨材料（但比金属好得多）。与尼龙、聚、氯化聚醚、聚等相比，但优于ABS、聚砜、有机玻璃等。通过添加聚、玻璃纤维等填料，可以提高PC的耐磨性，降低摩擦系数和磨损损失，提高PV值。PC具有良好的耐热性和耐寒性。可在-100～130℃范围内长期使用。具有较高的载荷变形温度（130～140℃），受载荷影响较小。脆性温度在-100℃以下，即使在-180℃也不会像玻璃一样破碎。PC无明显熔点，在220～230℃熔融。由于高分子链的高刚性，其熔融粘度远高于其他热塑性塑料
