（PC）--工程塑料的简介
工程塑料一般是指可以作为结构材料承受机械应力，能在较宽的温度范围和较为苛刻的化学及物理环境中使用的塑料材料。
工程塑料可分为通用工程塑料和特种工程塑料两大类。
通用工程塑料通常是指已大规模工业化生产的、应用范围较广的5种塑料，
即：
聚酰胺（尼龙，PA）
聚碳酸酯（聚碳，PC）
聚（POM）
聚酯（主要是PBT，PET）
聚醚（PPO，或变性PPE）。

PC属中等耐磨材料（ 但比金属还是要好很多）。比尼龙、聚、氯化聚醚及PTFE差，但比ABS、聚砜、有机玻璃等好。在PC中加入某些填料可改善耐磨性，例如加入PTFE、玻纤等可降低摩擦系数和磨损量，提高PV值。PC的耐热性和耐寒性都很好，长期使用温度的范围较宽，可在-100~130℃范围使用，其负荷变形温度高（130~140℃），且受负荷影响小；脆化温度在-100℃以下，甚至在-180℃的低温下，也不会象玻璃那样破碎。PC没有明显的熔点，在220~230℃呈熔融状态。由于大分子链刚性大，其熔融粘度比其它热塑性塑料高得多.
