　　China has undertaken the manufacture of kitchen and bath facility of developed countries which makes our country’s kitchen and bathroom industry grow stronger and improves the whole technology and management to a higher level. Globalization and specialized labor cooperation system provide a market opportunity for the development of China’s kitchen and bathroom industry. It enhances the global competitiveness of China’s kitchen and bathroom companies. While the growth of international economy slows down, uncertain factors increase and the economy is more difficult to run, the process of urbanization is speeding up, the urban economy is developing rapidly and lots of affordable houses have been completed. And the living standard of urban residents and their consuming ability are also improving rapidly. Therefore it is expected that the kitchen and bathroom market in the second, third or even fourth tier cities will usher in a critical period of development. The kitchen and bathroom industry in our country must be closely connected with the real estate industry, architectural material industry, industrial design and architectural decoration design industries by strengthening the communication and cooperation between the upstream and downstream industry chains as well as the innovation and win-win cooperation. And it also should further adjust its structure by transformation and upgrading of the industry so as to realize its development and improvement in the new stage.

　　As the living standard of consumers in China is improving, the young people’s living pace is becoming faster and more westernized. And kitchen, as part of the household, has developed from a supportive facility to an integrated part of household. Green modern kitchen culture tends to be more humane, artistic and intelligent with the changes of people’s attitudes. More and more consumers pay much more attention to the match of its functional division and appearance of the material when they choose the kitchen supplies, especially kitchen appliances.

　　The manufacturers of kitchen appliances will care more about users’ needs. According to the data, in the first half of 2017 such kitchen appliances as range hoods, gas stoves and disinfection cabinets sell better than traditional ones and they are becoming high-end, fashionable and intelligent. Set range hoods as an example, in the first half of 2016, the turnover reached 35.1 billion yuan, up 15% year on year. The turnover of European type accounted for 53.9%, up 3.3% compared with the same period of last year. The new small kitchen electrical appliances such as

　　electric kettles, electric cookers, coffee machines and bread makers are becoming widely applied in Chinese residents’ lives with an increase of over 10% per year in the market scale.

　　Seven pavilions of Shanghai New International Expo Center were used in the 201 Expo with an area of 85,000 square meters. About 800 enterprises attended the expo. The expo attracted nearly 80,000 professional buyers and more than 200 media. Nearly 40 theme forums were held. All these further consolidate its status as the “No.1 Green Construction and Building Materials Expo in Asia”.
